Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to "consumer health data" as defined by applicable state laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, and similar laws. It describes how LightenMD ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares consumer health data and the rights you have.
Consumer Health Data We Collect
- Health conditions, symptoms, and diagnoses you report in our intake and questionnaires
- Medications and treatments you report or that relate to your participation in the program
- Body measurements including height, weight, and BMI
- Reproductive or sexual health information you choose to provide
- Information that could identify your attempt to acquire health services
Why We Collect It
- To assess initial program eligibility and connect you with independent licensed providers
- To coordinate your care with providers and pharmacies involved in your treatment
- To provide customer support and program communications
- To comply with legal obligations
How We Share It
We share consumer health data only with: (a) the independent licensed medical providers and licensed pharmacies delivering your care; (b) service providers under contracts that require confidentiality and limit use to our instructions; and (c) as required by law. We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share consumer health data with third parties for their own marketing.
Your Rights
Depending on your state, you have the right to:
- Know what consumer health data we collect and with whom we share it
- Access your consumer health data
- Withdraw consent for collection or sharing
- Delete your consumer health data
- Appeal a decision we make on your request
To exercise any right, email support@lightenmd.com with the subject "Health Data Request." We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by your state's law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Security
We restrict access to consumer health data to personnel and processors who need it to deliver the services described above, and we protect it with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit.
