How Medical Oversight Works
LightenMD is a program, not a clinic — and we think that honesty matters. Clinical care in the program is delivered by independent, US-licensed medical providers who evaluate every participant individually. Here's what that means in practice:
- Every intake is reviewed by a licensed provider in your state — no exceptions, no rubber stamps
- Providers alone decide whether treatment is appropriate; if it isn't, you get a full refund
- Prescriptions, when appropriate, are filled by licensed, FDA-regulated US pharmacies and billed separately — we don't sell or profit from medication
- Ongoing care includes provider follow-ups, dose reviews, and side-effect support
